Overview

Launched in 2017, the Education Foundation of AACPS  Grants Program provides financial support for AACPS educators, schools, and offices to fund projects, programs, or initiatives that support student learning. The Foundation solicits applications for classroom support, program enhancements, professional development, and/or special events.

Application Process and Timeline

Grants from the Education Foundation of AACPS are awarded twice per year, and requests can be for up to $5,000. 

Spring Grant Cycle

During the Spring Grant Cycle, the application forms are posted on March 1st and are due by April 1st. Grants are reviewed and awarded by the start of the school year. When developing your grant proposal, you should keep in mind that these grants should be for the upcoming school year.

Fall Grant Cycle

During the Fall Grant Cycle, application forms are posted on September 15th and are due by October 1st. Grants are reviewed and awarded by the first week of January. When developing your grant proposal, you should keep in mind that these funds should be expended by the end of the school year.
