Shana Stein is a business leader with extensive experience in operations, strategic growth, team development, and client partnership across the building systems, engineering, and construction industries. She currently serves as General Manager for Trane in the Baltimore area and previously held leadership roles with Automated Logic Corporation, TEECOM, and Hilti North America, where she led strategic initiatives across the data center, K-12, higher education, and healthcare sectors.

Coming from a family of educators (including her mother, father, and sister), Shana has long valued the important role schools play in shaping lives and strengthening communities. Growing up in a diverse community where opportunities were often limited for lower-income families, she developed a deep appreciation for the importance of access, equity, and strong support systems for students.

As a board member, Shana is passionate about helping to raise money to expand access to educational programs, technology, and STEM opportunities. 

Shana was born and raised in Bayside, Queens, received her Industrial Engineering Bachelors Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and has been a resident of Baltimore for two years.
