Overview

The Anne Arundel County Public Schools Office of Interpretation and Translation alongside the Education Foundation of Anne Arundel County Public Schools is launching a scholarship program to support Non-native English speakers in their pursuit of their post-secondary dreams.

Beginning in Spring 2026, the Education Foundation of Anne Arundel County Public Schools will award up to two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who grew up in households who spoke or signed a language other than English at home.

Whether the student is preparing for a two- or four-year college or university, trade school, or enlisting in the military, this scholarship is designed to help break down the barriers to their success.

The Foundation hopes to raise $50,000 to establish a permanent Award Fund.
